Born and raised in Queens NY, TrueBlends was never exposed to the DJ Culture,

Although growing up he has always been exposed to good music. 

As a child being dragged to family events and parties exposed him to an era in music way before his time.

Trueblends quickly and unconsciously became a music lover.  It wasn’t until 2004, he decided to start a collection. It began with collecting albums then eventually evolved to entire genres organized by year. As the years went on the collection grew massively and so did his adoration towards different musical artist and sounds.

 In late 2010 his older brother decided to buy a pair of turntables. They both began to teach themselves the art of mixing and blending records. Over time they started to make mix CDs and DJ Bbqs and small gatherings for personal friends.

It wasn’t until 2012 when he actually stumbled across the name "DJ TrueBlends", the name fit so well and actually complemented his creative style of seamlessly blending and mixing tracks together.

Since then

DJ TrueBlends has rapidly become a raising star in the Music/Club/DJ Scene. Spinning on all the hot parties in NYC and even playing on NYC's premiere Hip Hop Radio Station "Hot 97" & Miami's "96.1FM"

 

DJ TrueBlends has been seen taking over numerous Clubs and Venues all over NYC! He has even managed to take his talents on the road! Being booked to DJ all over the US & other Countries in locations such as Canada(Edmonton, Montreal, & Toronto), New Jersey, Connecticut, Atlanta, California, Florida (Orlando, Tampa & Miami).  But it doesn’t stop there, He as also been seen spinning events with celebrities such as Lil Kim, actor Lance Gross, DJ Khaled, Trey Songz, Dave East, Dej Loaf, Jadakiss, Bow Wow & Fetty Wap
